By accepting these terms, you (“Helper”) agree that you are an independent contractor, not an employee, agent, partner, or joint venturer of Nelp Inc.. You:
Choose whether, when, and which tasks to accept; Nelp does not require you to accept any task or work any schedule.
Control how you perform tasks and provide your own tools, supplies, and (where relevant) transportation.
Are free to work for others, including competing platforms.
Are responsible for your own taxes, and for any business registration, licences, or insurance your work requires.
You agree to identity verification and a background check, and to keep your information current.
You agree to perform accepted tasks competently, lawfully, and respectfully, and to communicate honestly with Requesters.
Maintaining quality (e.g. ratings thresholds) is a condition of continued access to the Platform.
For each completed task you receive the task price minus Nelp’s service fee (currently [20%]), plus 100% of any tip.
Payments are made through our payment processor, on daily terms.
You are responsible for reporting and remitting your own income taxes; Nelp does not withhold taxes.
You perform tasks at your own risk and are responsible for your own safety and for any damage or injury you cause.
You will not discriminate, harass, or act unlawfully, and will follow reasonable safety practices.
You are responsible for any property you handle and for honouring what you agree to with a Requester.
You are responsible for determining and obtaining any insurance appropriate to your activities.
You can obtain your own insurance or opt-in to Nelp’s insurance policy
To the extent permitted by law, you are liable for harm or damage arising from your tasks, and you agree to indemnify Nelp against claims arising from your conduct or tasks.
Either party may end this relationship; Nelp may suspend or remove Helpers who breach these terms or create risk.
These Helper Terms incorporate the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
